How to measure for a Roman Blind...
A roman blind can sit inside or outside of the window recess.
To measure inside the recess - simply take 3 measurements across the window (top, middle and bottom) and take 3 measurements from top to bottom (left, middle and right). Use the smaller of each three measurements as the size of your recess.
To measure outside the recess - use either the width of the windowsill as your blind width or add around 8cm each side. The length of the blind can vary, although on average add 20 cm to your window height.
